2. We will then move into the jungle through small, yet complex canal systems, which provide a serene home to diverse flora and fauna. Allow yourself time to relax and meditate on this tranquil part of the trip. This landscape provides a glimpse into typical river life along the Mekong Delta. We will also explore a four-decade old noodle village and participate in the making of rice noodles the traditional way. We will continue our journey with a stroll through villages in the local community. You will be welcomed with warmth and generosity, trying fruit, such as jackfruit, dragon fruit and star apple in villagers’ gardens.

3. we will go into the meandering canals of Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve, which is surrounded by water hyacinth and water lettuce covering the surface. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the forest's enchanting atmosphere while observing the varied flora and fauna that thrive within its bounds. You will especially see wild honeybee hives in nature and learn about the vital role they play in local agriculture, while we glide through the wetlands and flooded forests. We will then climb to the observatory to contemplate how thousands of diverse birds fill the sky and listen to melodic songs. Lung Ngoc Hoang stands as a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife aficionados and you will see many kinds of colorful bird such as herons, kingfishers, coucals, cormorant, swamphens.

• 5Floating market and immersive trip in the nature with breakfast and lunch

  The overall tour was a great dive into the floating market with many details about the production of local products as well as the life of traders and farmers. The tour also got us to the Mekong delta canals and natural reserve on boats and it was a very immersive experience of Vietnamese jungle. Trang was an excellent guide, she loves her job as much as her country and it shows, she is very knowledgeable and explains very well.

• 5THIS is the PICS you see of Vietnam! Learned/experienced tons! Mai shared lots of PICS after too!

  This was the BEST tour we took in south east Asia (we’ve been here a month!) all because of Mai! She was so energetic and knowledgeable and great with English. She added so many details and extras to the tour! We got ten times what we expected. We were very well fed too!

  We did the River Market and Reserve tour today, and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Mai, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was so cheery, energetic, and made the entire experience deeply engaging for everyone. Mai taught us so much about the Mekong Delta, sharing fascinating insights with so much passion. If you are booking a tour, look for Mai, she is truly the best!
