하이라이트
Nagarkot Changunaryan day hiking begins from Nagarkot, from Kathmandu to Nagarkot it is still more than one hour’s drive away. Nagarkot is a small village 7200 feet above sea level, near Kathmandu, the most famous hill destination. From Nagarkot, our hike onwards through the terraced lands, thick traditional village of Tamang, with traditional country houses painted with bricks found locally. As we go ahead, we observe the aboriginal people’s culture & lifestyle on the route. We travel through the dense forest after that, a close watch on the flora & fauna. Then at last we reach Changunaryan, the end goal of this hike, one of Nepal’s UNESCO world heritage sites. Changunarayan is a pleasant oldest Temple which dates back to the 7th century and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It provides stunning views of the Mountains including Mt.Ganesh Himal, Mt.Langtang, Gauri Shankar, and Mt. Everest. We discover this ancient temple for about an hour, and finally drive back to Kathmandu.

About Kathmandu
Kathmandu is Nepal's ancient, colourful capital, a valley city of temples, stupas and royal squares and the gateway to the Himalaya.
Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old royal square, is crowded with pagoda-roofed temples and palaces, and nearby lives the Kumari, the city's living child goddess. Thamel, the travellers' quarter, is a tangle of lanes selling trekking gear, prayer flags and handicrafts, busy with cafés and rooftop restaurants.
Top-ranked sights in Kathmandu: Namche Bazaar, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur).
