I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Mari had a wealth of information about everything and we got an up-close view of harvesting and processing the tea.
5Great tea plantation tour
What a great tour! Our guide Mari, was an absolute legend! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great communicator. He clearly loves his photography as he had plenty of different shots that he recommended. The plantation was beautiful to walk around in and the factory was fascinating to see.

5Lovely afternoon tea walk
Our guide Mari was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We appreciated the bonus bottled water, snacks, and all the tea. My family are very interested in plants, animals and birds, and were pleased that our guide knew the name of every specimen we came across. One of our group has difficulty walking long distances, but the tour was adjusted to suit. I found the tea making process interesting, overall good experience.

We had a wonderful tour of the tea plantation and the Tea Factory. Our guide was fantastic – he explained everything clearly, showed us around, and made the whole experience really interesting and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this tour to everyone! About Munnar
Munnar is a hill station in Kerala's Western Ghats, where tea bushes cover the slopes and the Nilgiri tahr grazes on grassland above the clouds.
Munnar lies at around 1,500 metres in the Western Ghats of Kerala, at the meeting of three rivers, which is where its name comes from. The hills around town are covered in rolling tea estates planted by British growers in the nineteenth century, and cardamom and pepper grow on the slopes of the Cardamom Hills nearby. A small museum tells the story of the tea industry.
