While the dams on the property were constructed for watering cattle, here you will find the perfect natural habitat for red kangaroos and a vast array of birds and reptiles of the Red Centre. You will discover an ancient inland salt lake and learn about the European history of the region. While you enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, you will be captivated by the spectacular changing colours of sunset over Mt Conner before returning to relish a three-course outback dinner prepared by the cook at Curtin Springs Station.

About Uluru

Uluru is a huge red sandstone monolith in the desert of Australia's Northern Territory, sacred to the Anangu and the centrepiece of a World Heritage park.

Uluru rises 348 metres above the flat red plain of Australia's Red Centre, and a walk of about 10 km circles its base, passing waterholes, rock art and cliffs fluted by wind and rain. It is sacred to the Anangu, the traditional owners, who share its stories at the cultural centre in the park. The park is listed as a World Heritage site for both its natural and its cultural value.
