5Mendenhall Glacier
What a wonderful excursion. Booked this for our family. Day was rainy but we enjoyed the walk to the waterfall. It was foggy and wasn’t able to see the glacier when we first got there. But about 30 mins before we left it cleared enough to see. Kenny was our driver. He was entertaining and enjoyable.
5Great Tour
My friend and I had a great tour. Our driver, Kenny was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out various sites along our route. He even spotted a bald eagle. He was very humorous and entertaining which made the trip even better. Highly recommend.
5Highly recommended Juneau shore excursion
Highly recommended shore excursion. Very easy to find meeting point and comfortable bus. Archie was very knowledgeable, shared lots of stories and funny. It was on time but not feeling rushed. Make sure to do the hike to the Falls. Glacier sightseeing and information center was well worth it. We saw bears along the walkway and eagles along the highway. Do not hesitate to book. They make sure you won’t miss your cruise ship. Well worth it!
3Not worth the price
Its so expensive just for a drive to and from the meeting place to the glacier. Museum closed early with still lots of people.
510/10 Glacier & Falls Experience!
Booking our tour to Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls with this company was super easy, the cost was very reasonable (Much better than any excursion expensed through the cruise line) Pickup was right by the gangway of our ship. We could see the meetup spot before we even got off the boat! Archie was a fantastic driver, shared a ton of interesting information on the way to the glacier and gave some great tips to really enjoy the experience, plus he is absolutely hilarious and we had a few great laughs on the way there! The glacier and Nugget Falls were awesome! We had plenty of time to explore, walk the trail to go at our own pace for a personal experience once we arrived. Archie was timely with the pickup time and offered a couple of different drop off options to make everything as easy as possible for everyone on the excursion. Overall, 10/10! Will absolutely book with Archie and M&M Tours again anytime we visit Juneau in the future!
5Mendenhall Glacier for all levels
Driver was very informative , funny, and polite native of Hoonah. Mendenhall Glacier and nugget falls were beautiful. I didn't have enough time for the 3.5 mile hike. Luckily rain was light on and off. Would recommend this excursion. .

About Juneau
Juneau is Alaska's capital, a small harbour city beneath steep forested mountains, reachable only by air or sea and close to glaciers.
Juneau sits on the Gastineau Channel in the Alaska Panhandle, squeezed between the water and the steep slopes of Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, with the Juneau Icefield behind. No road connects it to the rest of North America. The city grew after gold was found in 1880, and the Alaska State Capitol, a columned building of the 1930s, the octagonal Russian Orthodox church of St Nicholas and the old downtown streets recall that past.
Top-ranked sights in Juneau: Mt. Roberts Tramway (Goldbelt Tram), Mendenhall Glacier, Nugget Falls.
