This ancestral ceremony, practiced for centuries, offers a rare opportunity to discover one of the Maya's most meaningful living traditions through guided chants, moments of silence and a deep connection with the natural elements. After the ceremony, continue with a refreshing swim in a crystal-clear cenote located within the same Mayan community. The experience concludes around the family table, where your Mayan hosts prepare a traditional homemade meal using fresh local ingredients. Enjoy slow-cooked chicken pibil, handmade corn tortillas, white rice, black beans and refreshing hibiscus water while sharing stories and experiencing the genuine hospitality that has welcomed visitors for generations.
