For instance, we might begin in Birgu to make the most of your time" The historic trio of Birgu, Cospicua, and Senglea, where history comes to life around every corner. In Birgu, we will explore the impressive Fort St. Angelo; in Cospicua, stroll along the picturesque waterfront and visit the Inquisitor's Palace; and in Senglea, take in the panoramic views from Gardjola Gardens. You will feel the timeless charm of these towns as we wander through their narrow streets and soak in the captivating ambiance.
Next, we'll make our way to the picturesque village of Marsaxlokk. Here, you'll have the opportunity to experience the daily life of the locals and savor the freshest seafood at the bustling fish market. The colorful boats in the harbor provide a perfect backdrop for some unforgettable photos.
Our adventure continues as we head to the Blue Grotto, a natural wonder that will leave you speechless. You may embark on a boat ride through the stunning sea caves; you'll witness the mesmerizing interplay of light and water that has made this place famous. There is a small additional cost if you wish to go out on a boat ride.

5Excellent way to see Malta
Chris was an excellent host and guide! We learned about Malta and saw many things we would not have been able to on our own. We booked this as a shore excursion.

Chris was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, he communicated with us ahead of time to confirm our timing and make sure our itinerary was customized to what we wanted to see and do. He also provided wonderful recommendations that made our experience even better. Chris was ready and waiting to meet us as soon as we got off the ship, and from that moment on, the entire day was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience in Malta. This was a great tour, Chris was very communicative beforehand to make sure we got to see the things we wanted and so he could put an itinerary together tailored for us. We learned a lot about the island’s history and culture from him and we loved all the places he brought us to see, highly recommend!
5A Great Way to See More of Malta!
Our 6-hour tour was a fantastic way to see many of the sites in Malta we had not during our stay on the island. Since my wife and I stayed for two weeks, we had already explored much of Valletta, as well as Mdina, Rabat, and the Three Cities. Therefore, we explained to our guide, Darren, that we'd like to go to areas of the island that were both away from Valletta (our home base) and that allowed us to experience places that were easier to get to with a private car and guide. Darren was able to help us meet all of our goals for this trip! We visited the town of Marsaxlokk, the archeological sites of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra, the cave, museum, and paleontological site of Għar Dalam, the Dingli Cliffs, the Mosta Dome, and our personal favorite, the Blue Grotto. Darren was able to get us to all of these places, orient us to each location, and give us ample time to explore and take everything in. Not having a car during our stay, this private tour with a wonderful guide allowed us to see so many places on our list with ease and comfort!
5Wide ranging 5hr tour of island
Communicated with driver / guide in advance and agreed tour - mostly on his recommendation. Chris was warm, knowledgeable, easy going and explained much about the island, its history and the places we wanted to see. Recommend this if you have limited time and want to see the different sides of the island and its storied history, along with many movie shoots. Great day

About Valletta
Valletta is Malta's tiny walled capital on a rocky peninsula, built by the Knights of St John with baroque palaces, a deep harbour and a Caravaggio.
Valletta was founded in 1566 by the Order of St John, a year after the Great Siege of Malta, and laid out on a grid of streets on a narrow peninsula between two harbours. The whole city is a World Heritage site. St John's Co-Cathedral looks plain outside but is gilded within, and holds Caravaggio's Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. The Grand Master's Palace and the Upper Barrakka Gardens look over Grand Harbour.
