This is both a wine tour and a mountain tour conducted in a spacious 4X4. Venture into Uco Valley through the Andes mountains, combining stunning views with great food and wine. This private wine tour is with a friendly and professional guide. Pick up is at 10am and we take an unpaved mountain road through Valle de Las Carreras. We then visit two wineries in Uco Valley and enjoy premium wines at each winery. Receive wine tasting instructions and background information about each location. 5Best wine tour in the region
Outstanding day with Ezekiel in the Uco Valley. Beautiful viewpoints of the area and wine tasting at an incredible boutique winery: Michelini I muffato. Then a delicious lunch with wine pairing at Andeluna winery. My husband and I had a great day.

Great tour through the mountains from Ricky. Amazing time at Escala Humana, very welcoming people, incredible views from the winery, informative tour, and great wine. Rough end to the trip at Andeluna - both the staff and wine were offensive. Good food though.
5Memorable experience in Mendoza!!
When we decided to go to Mendoza, we were looking for a memorable experience since it's unlikely we will make it back. A private tour was a must in my opinion so that we could relax and fully enjoy the day without distractions. Our guide, Ricardo, met us at the hotel right on time and we set off on our amazing tour. This tour not only includes wine...I missed the mountain part when I booked this, and that was really one of the most wonderful aspects of this tour. Ricardo and our driver took a majestically scenic route to reach our first winery. We first saw the Embalse Potrerillos and then headed into the mountains. It was a cloudy day, and I was worried that we wouldn't see anything, but we got above the clouds and WHAT A VIEW!! After the ride through the mountains, we made our way to Atamisque bodega and had a tour and tasting. Our guide was wonderful and the wine was fantastic. Lunch was at Andeluna and we had superb food and a bit too much wine (but that's what it's about) and then made our way back to Mendoza. Ricardo was wonderful and provided us with an overview of the history of wine in the region and much more about the culture, history, and geography of the region and Argentina. He knows A LOT and he could answer pretty much any question with a thoughtful and thorough reply. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. Keep in mind that wineries may change based on the itinerary and perhaps time of year. We were there at the beginning of winter, not ideal timing, but nonetheless this tour gave us the full experience we were looking for. Thank you Ricardo and Trout & Wine!!

Agostina was the best guide, friendly and personable! Ovaldo drove us to 3 different vineyards. Each vineyard provided us with (heavy) pours of wine, and snacks. The last venue had a wonderful lunch prepared. Definitely would do this tour again. Worth a whole lot more than the price imo. Thanks Trout & Wine!

About Mendoza
Mendoza is a wine city of tree-lined avenues and irrigation channels on a dry plain, with the high Andes rising to the west.
Mendoza was largely rebuilt after the earthquake of 1861, which is why its streets are wide and its squares open. Plane trees shade the pavements, watered by old irrigation channels called acequias. Plaza Independencia sits at the centre with four smaller squares around it, and the great Parque General San Martín climbs to the Cerro de la Gloria, a monument with a view over the city.
