2. The Arènes de Lutèce is the oldest monument built in Paris and still partly existing. It has been built in the 1st century AD. This arena could seat 17,000 people and was used as a theatre but also as an amphitheatre for gladiatorial fights.

Created during the 13th century, the vocation of this College was to welcome and train young monks.
