Lanzarote's volcanic scenery comes into its own at Timanfaya National Park. This corner of the island is all rusty-red peaks and craters straight from a sci-fi movie set. And it's all even more dramatic at sunset. So on this evening trip, you're in for a treat. Join us as we drive the park's famous Lunar Route around the scorched peaks, known as the Mountains of Fire. You'll enjoy an exclusive stop at Montaña a Rajada lookout, before arriving at El Diablo, a circular restaurant built on top of the Islote de Hilario volcano. Designed by Lanzarote's acclaimed architect, Cesar Manrique, its floor-to-ceiling windows command jaw-dropping panoramas over the national park. After capturing the candy floss clouds and craters on camera, tuck into dinner sizzled up on the volcano-heated barbecue, enjoying the views and live Canarian music.

About La Palma
La Palma is a steep volcanic island in the Canaries, with pine forests, a vast crater park, whitewashed towns and some of the world's clearest night skies.
La Palma rises steeply from the Atlantic at the north-western edge of the Canary Islands, with a ridge of volcanoes down its length. In the north, the Caldera de Taburiente, a huge crater eroded into a national park, is ringed by ridges and pine forests, and the Roque de los Muchachos, at about 2,400 metres, is the highest point and the site of an observatory. Santa Cruz de La Palma, the capital, has colonial balconies and a replica of Columbus's ship.
