About Bandung

Bandung is the cool highland capital of West Java, a city of Dutch Art Deco buildings, factory outlets, tea hills, volcanic craters and Sundanese food.

Bandung lies in a mountain basin about 700 metres above sea level, which keeps it cooler than the coastal plain, and the Dutch once called it the Paris of Java.
