Horseback Riding Experience in Alta Murgia

Discover a different side of southern Italy with a horseback riding experience in the countryside around Santeramo in Colle, between Puglia and Basilicata. Surrounded by the landscapes of the Alta Murgia, this is an ideal activity for travelers looking to combine nature, relaxation, and a more authentic rural setting away from the busiest tourist areas. The location is also convenient to reach during a road trip: approximately 1 hour by car from Bari and around 30 minutes from Matera, making it easy to add to a day exploring the region. Whether you are looking for an outdoor experience as a couple, with friends, or as part of a small group, horseback riding offers a slower and more immersive way to enjoy the local landscape. The experience is suitable for adults with little or no previous riding experience and for participants aged 14 and over with previous riding experience.
