일정
We set out from Vienna in the morning, trading boulevards for open fields and foothills on a roughly 4-hour westbound drive. In the final hour, the road drifts into the Salzkammergut: clear lakes flash between trees, the slopes gather height, and small villages press close to the shoreline—an easy preview of what’s ahead. Hallstatt appears suddenly, tucked between water and rock. The tempo drops. You follow the lakeside promenade toward the slender church spire, step into the Market Square, and wander lanes that climb toward the forest.
Explore Hallstatt’s essentials with a storyteller-guide: how salt shaped the town, why the Iron Age bears its name, where to frame the perfect lake reflection, and what quiet corners to visit afterward.
Enjoy free time in Hallstatt: wander the lakeside promenade for classic spire-and-water views, browse small craft shops and salt-themed souvenirs, and pause in Market Square for coffee or pastries. Follow the Mühlbach stream to quiet photo spots, or climb a lane for rooftops-and-lake panoramas. Then simply sit by the water and take it all in.
