• 5Excellent Egyptian Guide for Alexandria

  This private 1/2 day trip of Alexandria with Feby was excellent. Feby was passionate about showing us around her city of birth. She was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history through the centuries, telling a story that brought it all to life. Our trip included a visit to the Catacombs and the Citadel with drive by of the amphitheater and other ancient sites. We toured the old town, which you don’t get to see on a large bus tour as the roads are too narrow and crowded. We would definitely recommend Feby and her courteous driver and will definitely book again with her when we visit Cairo as Feby also does small private tours of Cairo.

About Alexandria

Alexandria, Egypt's Mediterranean port, was founded by Alexander the Great and holds Roman ruins, a harbour fort and a modern library by the sea.

Alexander the Great founded the city in 331 BC, and for centuries it was the capital of Ptolemaic Egypt, with a great library and the Pharos, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The Corniche runs for miles along the bay in front of tall, weather-worn apartment blocks.
