1. Our first stop is in this emblematic place where we can see a replica of the old Peñol de Guatapé. Our guides will give you a historical explanation of the construction of the place and you will be able to see how the town of Peñol was in its beginnings before the flooding. The time we spend here is about 30 minutes, but we have to add the transfer time from Medellin, approximately 2 hours and a half extra. to this time we add the time it takes us to pick up all our visitors for approximately one hour.

The Peñol de Guatapé rock is a monolith 220 meters high, located in the municipality of Guatapé, Antioquia, Colombia.1 The Peñol rock is a granite mass, composed of quartz, feldspar and mica, and was first climbed on July 16, 1954. You will have an hour and a half to climb up and down in the challenge of the day to climb 708 steps to the top, no doubt you will not regret it when you get there and see the spectacular panoramic view of the reservoir.
