5Awesome day, awesome guide!
We had such a great time on the tour with Juan as our guide! He was super knowledgeable about the history of the site and shared it in a really interesting way that kept us hooked. Juan’s storytelling made the ancient cultures feel so real. The tour was well-planned, with plenty of chances to explore and ask all the questions we had. We left with a whole new appreciation for Peru’s history. Big thanks to Juan for making the day so fun and memorable!

About Lima

Lima, Peru's capital on clifftops above the Pacific, is a city of colonial plazas, pre-Inca ruins and an exciting, celebrated food scene.

The historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, revolves around the Plaza Mayor, with the cathedral, the Government Palace and the Archbishop's Palace with its carved wooden balconies. The Monastery of San Francisco hides catacombs beneath its yellow church, and the colonial mansions around it recall the riches of the viceroyalty.

Top-ranked sights in Lima: Miraflores, Lima Plaza Mayor, Church and Convent of Saint Francis (Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco).
