About Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, the island capital of the United Arab Emirates, pairs a dazzling grand mosque and landmark museums with mangroves, beaches and desert.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, with its white marble domes, floral inlay and vast courtyard, is one of the most beautiful buildings in the region and glows softly after dark. Nearby, Qasr Al Watan opens the grand halls of the presidential palace to visitors, and Qasr Al Hosn, the city's oldest stone building, tells the story of the emirate's beginnings.
