1. Departure from Nice, both elegant and simple, the unofficial capital of the Côte d’Azur. You will admire the famous Promenade des Anglais, running along the curve of the Bay of the Angels, with the numerous beaches and luxurious hotels, including the famous Negresco.

• 3If was a nice overview of...

  If was a nice overview of the French Riviera. The driver was very attentive and tried to make up for the fact that I was the only English speaking person in the group of 7 Spanish people. It made for a less than pleasant experience. She should be commended for her efforts.

• 1irresponsible tourism

  this tour was a huge mess and disappointment. i flew into Nice from Paris for this tour only to be informed via email that my tour was cancelled due to not enough people. this was the highest level of irresponsibly and inhuman, knowing quite well that all other tours would have been filled up. he offered to refund, which i am yet to see. i was so devasted and finally decide to book a private tour of $410 meant for 2 people but was alone. thank Gid for my new tour guide. i will not recommend this for even my enemies. very bad bad business.

• 3Hit & miss…

  Beautiful places were covered but would have helped to have gotten a better guide. Guide's English accent was incomprehensible at times which was disappointing. Her driving was at times also quite dangerous and not smooth. There was also an incident where we asked if we had time to head to a nearby vantage point to take photos, but as we were walking she chased from the back saying the photos should have been taken before lunch. If this was the case then why did you say ok when I first asked if there was time for photos?

• 5Great tour+tour guide, just wished tour company was more flexible

  Had a great experience on this tour! Our tour guide, Raphael, was such a friendly tour guide and was hilarious! We really enjoyed his tour and fun facts about each place we went to. We also spent a good amount of time in each place, which was my favorite. He was also a very good and safe driver. We really enjoyed visiting all these wonderful places around the French Rivera. The only area of improvement, which is not a fault of Raphael, but the tour company, was the pickup point. For the hotel pickup, for whatever reason, even though our hotel was in Nice and maybe a 8 mins driving distance from the service area, the tour company was not flexible enough to just come to pick us up directly at our hotel and so we had to spent 30 mins walking to the meet up location. But other than this hiccup, the tour itself was amazing and we loved the tour and our tour guide.

About Nice

Nice is the sunny capital of the French Riviera, where a palm-lined promenade curves along a blue bay and a pastel old town buzzes with markets.
