Explore the fascinating Dingle Fairy Fort, an ancient univallate RATH (also known as a Ringfort or Lios). This well-preserved site offers panoramic views and traces of 3 or 4 huts and a souterrain. Entrance is €2.50 (not included in ticket price). You can also visit the animal pet farm and interact with animals like sheep, goats, and donkeys (animal feed provided).
2nd Stop: Dobey’s Takeaway / Ealu @ Stonehouse / Dunbeg Fort (Approx. 30 minutes) A great opportunity to sample the local flavors with a Lobster Roll from Dobey’s Takeaway, visit the Stonehouse Coffee Shop, or explore Dunbeg Fort. Stop at Kruger’s Bar, Europe’s most westerly bar, with panoramic views of the Blasket Islands (weather permitting). Relax in the cozy atmosphere of this historic pub, which was featured in the film “Ryan’s Daughter”. A full lunch menu and bar are available (not included in ticket price).
As we travel towards Ballyferriter, enjoy stunning views of Clogher Strand and Sybil Head, which appeared in Star Wars. See Beehive huts, similar to those on Skellig Michael, built for the film!
We finish the tour as we pass Bric’s Pub, Leath Thaoibh, the breathtaking Three Sisters, with Mount Brandon towering in the distance, set the scene as Gallarus Castle emerges into view—possibly even Gallarus Oratory. And just as you think it can’t get any better, an incredible panoramic vista of Dingle Bay unfolds as you approach Bóthar Fada.

About Dingle
Dingle is a brightly painted harbour town on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, with music pubs, Irish-speaking villages and wild Atlantic scenery.
Dingle, An Daingean in Irish, is a small fishing harbour on the Dingle Peninsula in the south-west of Ireland, in a district where Irish is still spoken in daily life. Its streets of painted shopfronts run up from the harbour, and in the evenings the pubs fill with traditional music sessions. Fishing boats still unload at the pier, and seafood is the town's trade.
