If you are an experienced rider or even a real expert, come to us and let our amazing horses cast a spell on you! A highly skilled riding teacher will lead you into this unique equestrian world. By riding 2-3 different horses you will soon discover the particular potential of the 5-gaited Icelandic Horse. This program takes place at Vindheimamelar show grounds and surroundings and is a good balance of practice and hacking. Please let us know about your previous riding experience in as much detail as possible. This helps us choose the right horses for you. You can do this on the check out page. About Akureyri

Akureyri, at the head of a long fjord in North Iceland, is a small northern town with a hillside church, a botanical garden and big mountain views.

Akureyri lies at the head of Eyjafjörður, one of the longest fjords in Iceland, with snowy mountains rising on both sides. It is the largest town in the north and is often called the capital of North Iceland.
