Meet your guide in the main port of Sorrento and by fast ferry reach Capri Island. On board of a convertible car or minibus you will be driven along the famous Mamma Mia cliffside road, where you can snap some photos of a lifetime. Weather permitting, you will visit the Blue Grotto, by small boat through a narrow opening. Ride the chairlift from Anacapri to the peak of Monte Solaro to soak up spectacular views of the entire island. About Sorrento
Sorrento perches on cliffs above the Bay of Naples, a charming lemon-scented town that makes an easy base for Capri, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.
The town's centre is Piazza Tasso, from which narrow lanes run past churches, shops selling limoncello and inlaid woodwork, and the peaceful cloister of San Francesco. Steps and lifts lead down the cliffs to Marina Piccola, where the boats leave, and to Marina Grande, a fishing harbour with seafood restaurants right by the water.
