5Knowing your own downtown
Our group works in downtown Houston. It was fun to learn more about the murals we see everyday. We went on a Sunday morning which was great since traffic was light.
4Appreciate Houston’s diverse culture through murals
The downtown mural tour gave us a deeper appreciation for Houston’s diverse culture. Our guides Marna and partner did a good job driving us around and describing the meanings and symbols of the commissioned art pieces.
5Houston’s diverse culture through murals
Our guides Ms. Marna and partner are very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the ride to the many downtown murals and listening to their hidden symbols and meanings. This experience greatly deepens our understanding of the diverse culture Houston celebrates.
5Up Close with Houston's Mural Scene
Knowledgeable and Entertaining Guide made this a one-of-a-kind experience. Perfect 'get to know something unique about Houston' activity for a Saturday morning. Highly Recommend!
5We toured to view the MURALS
We saw the murals the host took us to, but found others as we rode around the city. The hosts were very nice and had knowledge about what the murals represented. I was impressed upon hearing how the United Nations helps the artists reach the goal. Beautiful work
5Great family day
The tour operator did a great job of explaining the meaning of each mural. It was a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely do it again in the future as other family members come to visit. My cousins were here from out of town and took tons of post worthy pics!

About Houston
Houston is the largest city in Texas, a sprawling Gulf Coast metropolis of space history, big museums, bayou parks and food from around the world.
Houston sprawls across the flat coastal plain of south-east Texas, inland from the Gulf coast, with a skyline of towers downtown. It was founded in 1836 and named for Sam Houston, the general who won Texas independence at the Battle of San Jacinto. The San Jacinto Monument, a tall masonry column topped with a star, marks the battlefield, and Buffalo Bayou Park runs through the city, with trails, bridges and an underground cistern.
Top-ranked sights in Houston: Space Center Houston, Market Square Park, Downtown Aquarium.
