Varenna is a charming village overlooking the Lecco branch of Lake Como. From here begins the experience, immersed in a romantic and timeless atmosphere. Walking through the narrow cobbled streets, you discover the authentic charm of the village with picturesque houses overlooking the lake that offer enchanting views and unforgettable views.
Vezio Castle is an imposing medieval fortress located above Varenna, in a panoramic position on Lake Como. After visiting the village, this stage allows you to immerse yourself in the history and charm of the territory. From its ancient walls you can admire a breathtaking view of the crystal clear waters of the lake. The panorama also opens onto the surrounding mountains, giving one of the most suggestive views of the area.
Esino Lario, known as “The Pearl of Grigne”, is an evocative stop surrounded by mountains and nature. From here the journey continues to the scenic Passo Agueglio, one of the most scenic points in the area. Along the way, the curves offer a pleasant and charming route. About Lake Como
Lake Como is a deep, Y-shaped lake in Lombardy, ringed by steep green mountains, pastel villages, ornate villas and terraced gardens.
Lake Como is shaped like an upside-down Y, with three arms that meet near Bellagio. At more than 400 metres deep, it is one of the deepest lakes in Europe, held between steep wooded slopes that rise towards the Alps. Villages with painted houses and small harbours stand along the water, and a network of ferries links them, making a boat the best way to see the shoreline.
