Join Josefina (or Jeronimo, Josefina's son) in her home kitchen for a 3-hour hands-on small-group cooking class (limited to 6 students). Discover and taste the cuisine of Mexico through Josefina's personal family recipes. During this culinary experience you will also get to visit Cozumel's local market. About Cozumel
Cozumel is a flat, reef-ringed island off Mexico's Yucatán coast, famed for diving, Maya ruins and calm turquoise water on its sheltered west side.
Cozumel lies about twenty kilometres off the Yucatán coast, a short ferry ride from Playa del Carmen. The main town, San Miguel, faces the mainland with a waterfront promenade, a plaza and small museums, while most of the island is flat jungle and quiet coast. The western side, where the sea is calm, holds the beach clubs and snorkelling spots, and the wild windward east coast has rough surf and empty sand.
