Riomaggiore is the southernmost village of Cinque Terre, known for its colorful cliffside houses and harbor. Dating back to the 13th century, it has deep roots in winemaking and fishing. Its steep streets and scenic marina capture the traditional Ligurian charm.
Optional passage on Via dell’Amore, a scenic cliffside path connecting Riomaggiore and Manarola. Built in the 1920s during railway construction, it became a symbol of romance.
Manarola is a picturesque village built on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by terraced vineyards. Its pastel buildings, historic church, and sea views make it a favorite among artists and photographers.
Corniglia is the quietest of the five Cinque Terre villages as it has no direct access to the sea. Optional stop for heroes looking for challenging 377 steps climb.
Vernazza is often considered the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre villages. With a small natural harbor, medieval tower, and 11th-century church, it blends history and seaside charm.
Monterosso al Mare is the largest Cinque Terre village, known for its sandy beaches, lively promenade, and historic old town. It’s ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying seafood by the sea.

About La Spezia
La Spezia is a Ligurian port on the Gulf of Poets, with a naval harbour, museums and the main rail gateway to the Cinque Terre villages and Portovenere.
La Spezia lies at the head of a deep gulf on the Ligurian coast, ringed by hills of olive groves and sheltered by a long breakwater. It is an important naval base as well as a commercial port, and a seafront promenade, Passeggiata Morin, runs beside the harbour. The Amedeo Lia Museum holds paintings and medieval works, and the Castello di San Giorgio on a hill above keeps finds from the area.
