Discover the most beautiful beaches of La Paz, we visit Playa Balandra and Playa Tecolote. We will eat in a restaurant and take a tour of the city of La Paz, touring the historic center, cathedral, and craft center. We will visit the historic center of La Paz starting with the Cathedral of Our Lady of La Paz
A tour of the museum shows the background and history of our city
We will pass by the van on the sea wall of La Paz where you can admire its beautiful infrastructure and sculptures
We will visit the artisan's house where you can observe and acquire various types of crafts that are made in the region with materials such as cacti and desert plants such as Choya and El Palo de Arco, drinks and handicrafts such as Damiana.
We will visit one of the most beautiful beaches in Baja California Sur, the Balandra Protected Natural Area has white sand beaches and a transparent turquoise blue sea, perfect for swimming and enjoying Access to this beach is limited and regulated by government authorities so we cannot guarantee 100% access. Times are designed to arrive well in advance, however we depend on the number of people attending per day. In case we cannot enter Balandra we will visit another beach instead.
On this beautiful beach we will arrive to relax and eat in a restaurant facing the sea.

5Very recommended, excellent service and trip
We did the tour to El Triunfo, a mining town about 30 minutes from La Paz, and went to the beaches at La Ventana. The trip was very well coordinated, we were picked up at our hotel and had lunch included at a nice cafe. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Baja California and the history and surrounding wildlife. The beach they took us to was also gorgeous and not crowded. Very easy to do for families even with kids as it is the perfect balacee of exploring and learning while also getting to relax by the beach. Overall, would definitely recommend if you are in La Paz and looking for a unique excursion

Booked family tour in La Paz in July 2025. It was well organized and interesting! We really enjoyed every minute. Our guide Isaias was knowledgeable and fun. My tour guide was great. Even though the tour was in Spanish, I booked this one a bit late, he took time to translate for me in English. I wish I could have spent more time at Playa Balandra, either way it was a memorable experience. Gracias Isaias 🫡

About La Paz
La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur, a calm Sea of Cortez port with a seafront promenade, island beaches and sea lion colonies offshore.
La Paz lies on a sheltered bay on the Gulf of California, also called the Sea of Cortez, in the south of the Baja California peninsula. Its malecón, a long seafront promenade, runs past sculptures, cafés and ice-cream stalls. The cathedral stands on Plaza Constitución, the Museum of Anthropology and History covers the peninsula, and the city has a long past as a centre of pearl fishing.
