We will pick you up at the starting time you choosed from the port / airport / your hotel in Tangier.
Upon arrival in the city, immerse yourself in Chefchaouen’s medina, one of the most picturesque historic centers in Morocco. you will enjoy strolling through its winding streets flanked by pretty blue houses. You will also visit its souks.
Small and quiet, the Chefchaouen Cemetery points to the remnants of a once vibrant culture. Visitors may notice that many of the tombs have inscriptions written in Arabic PD: This attraction is included in the optional guided tour
We will enjoy the blue painted blue city of Chefchaouen
This cascade is very handy. It keeps things cool and provides heaps of running water for the women of the town to come to the communal laundry to go the family wash. it provides an important source not just of water but social interaction for the women whose lives seem to be somewhat proscribed and cloistered. No need to make a special point of visiting it as you will just come across it while wandering around the hilly little town. Mostrar menos PD: This attraction is included in the optional guided tour. Nice place to stop and grab a coffee or mint tea and people watch while taking a break. Beautiful fountain and Kasbah as a backdrop add to the charm of the square. The visit of the museum is not included in the tour but the client can visit it in his free time while visiting the Medina
Constructed in the 15th century, Chefchaouen’s Grande Mosque was built on the orders of Moulay Mohamed Ben Ali Ben Rachid, the son of the city’s founder. It features an octagonal minaret, which is somewhat unusual when compared to the many square minarets that generally tower over the nation’s myriad mosques. The shape was influenced by Andalusian styles, brought to the country by Muslims from Spain. Built from stone, the shades of brown and beige are juxtaposed against the nearby blue and white buildings. Admiring the mosque is among the top things to do in the city. 5Excellent tour of the Blue Pearl. A must-see destination in Morocco!
We had a very pleasant tour experience. Our driver picked us up from our hotel at 10am and drove us to Chefchaouen. The drive is about 2 hours and is very scenic. We were joined by our local guide who walked us through the beautiful blue alleys explaining the history and culture of this unique town. Our tour guide Imad was excellent. He grew up in Chefchaouen and shared stories from his childhood and really gave us a window into life in the Blue Pearl. Since it was a private tour, the tour was flexible to our needs and we had lovely conversation. Since it was summer we enjoyed seeing the community and children enjoying the springs so the tour had an immersive aspect to it as well. We returned by 5pm with plenty of time to enjoy dinner back in Tangier. Highly recommend this tour company and destination!
5Excellent Trip to Chefchaouen
We had a wonderful trip to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen with Chefchaouen Adventures. Our driver Hatim was a pleasure to travel with and made our journey there and back even better. 5Outstanding Private Tour to Chefchauoen
We had a fabulous day visiting Chefchaouen! We had had the Tour all to ourselves. Our personal Tour guide has lived in this beautiful village his whole life. He shared so much about the history, and current life there. You can tell how proud he is of this quaint city. The iris blue colors of the homes - so stunning. We had a delicious lunch after touring the area. Our driver was excellent, and we were very comfortable in a new Ford luxury van. I left a jacket in the van, and the company service is exemplary- sending it back to me in the states. Highly recommend this tour!
5Great trip to Chefchaouen
Great trip to Chefchaouen. Our driver was very pleasing with our group and did a short stop on the road so we could buy a Tangine. Also once we arrived Chefchaouen our tour guide was excellent and adapted the tour to our group as we were with our elderly mother and helped us complete a pleasant day.
