1. The Hassan II Mosque is a mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the largest mosque in Africa, and the 3rd largest in the world. Its minaret is the world's second tallest minaret at 210 metres. Completed in 1993, it was designed by Michel Pinseau and built by Bouygues.

6. Mahkamat al-Pasha is an administrative building constructed 1941-1942 in the Hubous neighborhood of Casablanca, Morocco. The complex serves or has served as a courthouse, residence of the pasha, parliamentary reception hall, and jail.

Casablanca is Morocco's largest city and economic engine, an Atlantic metropolis of Art Deco boulevards, a seaside corniche and a monumental mosque.

The Hassan II Mosque stands on a platform over the ocean, its minaret among the tallest in the world and its prayer hall decorated with carved cedar, marble and zellige tilework by thousands of craftsmen. It is one of the few mosques in Morocco that non-Muslim visitors can enter, on guided visits.
