5Tour of old town Bilbao
Iker was a great guide. He was very passionate about Basque history and language. 2 hours is perfect introduction. Aren’t anBasque restaurant his parents frequented. Great food.
5Great walking tour of Bilbao
Good walking tour with David! He was very knowledgeable about Bilbao, its history, and art. He also gave some great pinxtos and activity recommendations and even stayed to answer any additional questions. The walk was not too strenuous and you go through the 7 streets of old town.

5See Old Town Bilbao and Learn about the Whole City
During this excellent tour, we walked only in the old town of Bilbao, but learned about all area of the city. We learned a lot about the history of Bilbao (including when economic times were tough in the city), the growth of the city, its connection of the river and the unique aspects of the river. We walked on a stretch of the Camino de Santiago as it crosses through the old town of Bilbao. Overall, a wonderful tour.

About Bilbao
Bilbao is a Basque city on the Nervión River, a former industrial port reborn around a titanium-clad art museum and an old quarter of pintxo bars.
Bilbao grew rich on iron ore and shipbuilding, and its industrial riverside has been turned to culture. The Guggenheim Museum, designed by Frank Gehry and covered in titanium, curves beside the river, with a giant flower-covered dog and a spider sculpture outside.
