A 2,5 hour tour of the museum on the Island begins at the Mandela Gateway in V&A Waterfront.After a 45 minute ferry ride,our group take a tour of the former maximum-Security jail,and a 30 minute bus ride around the Island.Robben Island is where former late political prisoner Nelson Mandela and others developed their concepts for post -apartheid South Africa concepts that led to the overthrow of a brutal regime and the development of the one of the world’s most liberal democracy. We will meet private guide that can take you inside the house where the late Mr Nelson Mandela spend 2years before his released in 1990. if you are interested to see where he was in isolation. please be aware the information from the guide is very heavy and informative that will add more to your expectations and questions you have all will be answered. tour is available strictly on request to visit the house inside at additional cost for 2 hours Tour.
