It's bright colours due to the opening at the top where sunlight passes through creates the perfect place for photography lovers. It is a tourist attraction and the best way to visit it is by boat because it's the most secure, comfortable way and you get to visit other caves that are very beautiful but not as famous as this cave.

About Portimão
Portimão is a river port and fishing town on the western Algarve, with sardine grills by the quay and the sandy bays and red cliffs of Praia da Rocha.
Portimão sits at the mouth of the Arade River, and its long history of fishing and fish canning shaped the town. The old cannery now houses the town's museum, which records that trade, and the riverfront quay has rows of grills where sardines are cooked in the open air. Across the water is Ferragudo, a village of white houses with the Santa Catarina fortress at the river mouth.
