1. Our expert guide will meet you at the Statue of Vimara Peres and, after a brief description of your tour itinerary, he will take you to the magnificent Douro Valley.

2. Visit to a small Quinta/wine producer with Douro DOC wine tastings and olive oil. Learn about the uniqueness of winemaking in Douro Valley. Then travel along the centenary terraces through the heart of the Douro Wine Region.

3. Travel through some historic small villages in Douro Valley with astonishing views of the terraced vineyards and meet the locals. Take your time to take some photos in some of the most beautiful viewpoints.

4. Take a few minutes to visit a local village and have a drink while finding out about the history and culture of the place. Look beyond the facades and you will be surprised with what you will find!

5. You will be driven one of the most iconic stretches of road in the World, the N222, offering amazing views of the terraced hillsides.

6. You are invited to have lunch in a winery (not included) and discover the Portuguese wines and food presented in a contemporary way. Relax and delight yourself! If you prefer to have lunch in another place, please let us know on the time of the reservation.

7. When you are finished with lunch it is time to delve into yet more wines. Common sense tells us that Port does go down a lot smoother after a proper and hearty portuguese meal. Brace yourselves for more Douro DOC and Port wines.

8. After an extraordinary day, it is time to return to Porto. Enjoy the luxurious van and relax. We don't really mind if you snore; the driver might join you.

About Porto

Porto tumbles down steep hills to the Douro River, a granite city of tiled churches, riverside cellars and port wine aged across the water.

The Ribeira district lines the riverbank with colourful houses, cafés and boats, part of a UNESCO-listed old centre beneath the iron arches of the Dom Luís I Bridge.
