1. We pick you up from hotels that are located in the center of the city and then begin our tour. • Our first stop will be in the town of Pampa de Arrieros, where it was formerly the entrance to the white city for people who arrived on board the train. • Afterwards we headed towards Patahuasi to have the traditional Coca Mate, a must to avoid altitude sickness. About Arequipa

Arequipa, in southern Peru, is a white-stone colonial city beneath the cone of El Misti volcano, close to the deep Colca Canyon.

Arequipa lies at about 2,300 metres in the dry southern Andes, with the cone of El Misti volcano rising above it and Chachani and Pichu Pichu on either side. Its centre is built from sillar, a light volcanic stone that has earned it the name of the White City. The Plaza de Armas has arcades, palms and the cathedral, whose façade stretches the full length of one side.
