Eleven kilometers of trails, two observation towers and two suspension bridges offer unique opportunities to immerse yourself in the nature of the Arenal Volcano National Park. If you are not a guest of the Arenal Observatory Lodge & Spa, we offer you the opportunity to opt for the DAY PASS to explore our impressive 350-hectare (865-acre) nature reserve.

The Entrance Pass is the cheapest option to visit Arenal Observatory Lodge & Spa for the day. Includes access to all hotel facilities and our nature reserve except for the pool and jacuzzi area, the use of which is prohibited. This pass does not include food or beverage service at “El Jilguero” Restaurant, “Cerro Chato” Bar or COATI Coffee & Smoothie Bar.

About La Fortuna
La Fortuna is Costa Rica's adventure hub at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, with rainforest, hot springs, waterfalls and a mountain lake.
The near-perfect cone of the Arenal Volcano rises above the town, and Arenal Volcano National Park has trails through old lava flows and rainforest with views of the summit. Lake Arenal, the largest lake in the country, spreads to the west, with kayaking, fishing and windsurfing on its breezy waters and green hills all around.
