Accompany me on a leisurely stroll through Aquileia to explore the most beautiful corners of this former royal seat of the Roman emperors - and a Unesco world heritage site. River harbor, forum, residential buildings, necropolis and the grave road. We visit the Duomo of Aquileia, its priceless and very well preserved floor mosaics. I will tell you about the development from an imperial residence to a patriarchal seat.
