Not every traveler experiences the mountains in the same way, so we don’t follow one fixed hiking route for every departure. We keep groups small, allowing the guide to choose the most suitable route and adjust the pace according to the participants’ fitness, experience and the conditions on the day. You may explore high-altitude valleys and streams or, when the group and conditions allow, continue toward more demanding trails and higher viewpoints. This is a hiking experience for travelers who want to explore the Andes on foot, beyond the usual scenic stops. 5Great hike with lots of animal sightings!
We had a great day in the mountains. Our guide adapted the tour to our experience and wishes. Saw Condors and Guanacos! Perfect day! :)
5Beautiful and memorable experience!
A wonderful day hike experience led by our guide Matias. He was an engaging and knowledgeable guide who took great care to make it memorable. The thoughtfully prepared lunch at the top was fantastic!
3Lovely hiking trip but expensive
Lovely hiking trip to a beautiful part of Argentina. Our guide made us a lovely lunch which we had at the top. However the trip to the mountain was over 2 hours and we would have liked if there was more conversation from our guide. It was an expensive trip and we don’t feel it was the best value.
5Wonderful hike
The hike was perfect. Vanina was a delight of a guide. The drive from Mendoza was gorgeous. The hike was demanding but not difficult or technical. The high altitude (3000m +) meant we had to take it slow. We saw so many animals and the lunch was delicious.

We 100% recommend this tour! The hike was certainly challenging, but our guide Fernando was fantastic. His knowledge and energy/passion was incredible and the scenery was top class.

About Mendoza
Mendoza is a wine city of tree-lined avenues and irrigation channels on a dry plain, with the high Andes rising to the west.
Mendoza was largely rebuilt after the earthquake of 1861, which is why its streets are wide and its squares open. Plane trees shade the pavements, watered by old irrigation channels called acequias. Plaza Independencia sits at the centre with four smaller squares around it, and the great Parque General San Martín climbs to the Cerro de la Gloria, a monument with a view over the city.
