There we will enjoy the forest and the adventurous tracks that the forest has to offer. Next we will head to Akureyri and pedal through the historic streets of down town. Immerse yourself in the rich stories of the old town as your knowledgeable guide leads the way. Before heading off we will go over some safety rules and how to operate the e-bikes. It is partly an off road trip with some hills and tracks, but do not worry because with the e-bikes you can choose the difficult level.

About Akureyri

Akureyri lies at the head of Eyjafjörður, one of the longest fjords in Iceland, with snowy mountains rising on both sides. It is the largest town in the north and is often called the capital of North Iceland. The Akureyri Church, a stark concrete building designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, stands on a hill above the centre at the top of a broad flight of steps, and the botanical garden is one of the most northerly in the world.
