During this orientation trip you will get to know everything worth knowing about the city of Agadir. Agadir was a modern seaside resort and port city until 1960, until an earthquake totally destroyed it on the night of February 29th to March 1st. It is said that around 15,000 people died that night. The city is now in a modern state style rebuilt. After the Berber Museum you visit the souk, where you can enjoy the wonderful scents and colors of a foreign oriental culture. The ruins of the Kasbah from the 16th century above are the next point you approach. From there you have a unique view over the new city of Agadir and the long bay as well as the coast. Finally, you will visit the port, which is important for Morocco. After this round trip you are well prepared for later activities in Agadir.

➊ Pick up from your hotel or hostel at the selected time on the booking form. ➋ A short drive through the promenade of Agadir while driving through the Marina towards the old Kasbah. ➌ Panoramic view stop at Kasbah of Agadir, the most majestic site of the city, which is a fortress (was built in the 16th century and destroyed by the earthquake in 1960) overlooking the city, beach and the harbor, at a height of 236 meters. ➍ Drive through the back roads of the Agadir city and have a quick stop at the biggest mosque in Agadir. ➎ Optional stop at the cooperative of argan house for the first time visitors to learn about the argan oil process. ➏ Up to one hour and half of free time at the local market in Agadir, one of the largest markets in Morocco. ➐ Return back to the reception of your hotel after the free time in the souk.

About Agadir
Agadir is Morocco's sunny Atlantic resort, with a long sandy bay, a palm-lined promenade and the High Atlas and the Souss Valley at its back.
The city's broad crescent of sand stretches for miles, backed by a seafront promenade lined with cafés and restaurants.
