With pickup at either 9:00 am or 2:00 pm from your hotel lobby, local guide will accompany you to take a taxi to start this half day cultural and food tour. Located on the central axis of the Jianfu Temple in south Xian, Small Wild Goose Pagoda survives from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Follow your guide to visit this pagoda and the Xian Museum to learn the history and culture of Xi’an. About Xian
Xi'an, capital of many Chinese dynasties and the start of the Silk Road, is home to the Terracotta Army and intact Ming city walls.
The Terracotta Army, found by farmers digging a well in 1974, stands in vast pits outside the city: thousands of life-size clay warriors, horses and chariots buried to guard the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, China's first emperor. Each figure has its own face, and the scale is staggering.
