After years exploring the Riviera Maya, we chose the two places we love most: a sanctuary where sea turtles and stingrays live in the wild, and a stretch of the reef in front of the Tulum ruins full of color. Our local team shares them every day with the same care we would give our own family: small groups on each boat, a guide in the water with you, and a deep respect for the animals and the reef.

- Meet at the Tulum Snorkel Services booth on the sand at Playa Pescadores, inside Jaguar Park, just south of the Tulum ruins. Park entry is free; optional electric shuttles go to the beach. Arrive 15 min early. We send directions on WhatsApp. No sunscreen or single-use plastics in the park.

The ruins of Tulum, a walled Maya port, stand on a limestone cliff above the Caribbean, with El Castillo overlooking a small cove of white sand. The setting is one of the most photographed in Mexico, and the site is at its loveliest early in the morning, before the heat builds.
