5A memorable experience!
Wonderful setting in the castle. Would recommend getting the funicular up. Host was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the wines. A wide variety of Slovenian wines. None disappointed but the last 2 were exceptional and we were lucky to find our favourite ar the airport.
5Tasting in Ljubljana
We had a climb up to the castle again which we hadn’t factored in. However it was well worth it. The guide was excellent. It was two hours filled with lots of information and fun and a great activity to spend with a group of strangers that slowly after a couple of sips of wine you become better acquainted with.

We truly enjoyed this wine tasting. We had a great host who educated us on many interesting things about Slovenian wine and Slovenia in general. There were 12 people on the tour, so it was a great size. The wines and company were enjoyable!

We had a wonderful experience with Sara. We were late to our tasting due to a tour we took before hand. They were so understanding and accommodating it turned a very stressful situation into a very pleasant, informative and enjoyable experience!! Highly recommend this wine tasting.

This was a great experience, the person hosting had great knowledge, it was a great atmosphere. We invited friends with us too and they had a great time. We did not get the certificate the experience said we would, but the whole thing was great. Would highly recommend it.

About Ljubljana
Ljubljana is Slovenia's small, green capital, a riverside city of bridges, a hilltop castle and cafés, with lakes and mountains within reach.
Ljubljana sits on the Ljubljanica River beneath a castle on a wooded hill, and its compact centre is closed to most traffic. The architect Jože Plečnik shaped much of the look of the city, with the Triple Bridge, the riverside market colonnades and the National and University Library. The Dragon Bridge, guarded by four dragons, recalls the city's symbol, and a funicular climbs to the castle.
