5Scary … but Brilliant
What can I say … we had a fantastic afternoon zip wiring in the mountains behind our resort (Basca Voda). The adventure includes 6 different lines, each with its own ‘specialty’ and our two guides were superb in showing us the ropes and looking after us. We would totally recommend this activity.
1Do not book with Viator!! Took my money under false pretences
Viator took my booking and money for a time the tour operator doesnt actually offer, then refused a refund despite evidence of their mistake and ne explaining i couldn't do the next day. Extremely shoddy business practice, beware!!
1Do not book with Viator!
BOOK DIRECT, NOT WITH VIATOR! I booked with Viator for 1700 with hotel pickup who took my payment the day before. But on the morning the operator contacted me to say the time was 1625 at a hotel 10 minutes away. I explained that I wouldn't arrive in Makarska until 1630 so couldn't make the new time and had to leave the next day, but Viator refused to refund me. Their website is out of step with the actual operator and despite me showing evidence of the changed time they have taken amost £100 for no ride! Beware
5Recomendable
We went as a family, two adults and two kids aged 7 and 10. The zip-lines were a thrill with a spectacular view, the crew were professional and enthusiastic, and we felt safe throughout the experience. Absolutely recommendable :)

All staff were knowledgable and experienced, provided a great atmosphere for all to enjoy the zip lines and scenic trials through the woods

My husband and I are no longer young, but everyone helped us when necessary. Well done. I would certainly recommend this trip to all.

About Makarska
Makarska is a Dalmatian seaside town beneath the Biokovo mountains, with a pebble bay, a palm-lined promenade and a long riviera of beaches.
Makarska lies on a wide bay on the Dalmatian coast, sheltered by a wooded peninsula and backed by the grey limestone wall of the Biokovo mountains. The small old town centres on Kačić Square, where the church of St Mark stands, and a palm-lined promenade follows the harbour past cafés and fishing boats. The Franciscan monastery holds a museum of sea shells.
