5A great rafting experience on Sochi
This was a wonderful day on the river. These guys are very well organized and the guide really knew the river and we never felt unsafe. There were lots of rapids and some challenging fun intervals. The trip length felt just right . I've done other trips in other countries and this was right up there with the best. Highly recommend if you have a few hours on an afternoon. That river is just stunning.
5Best day
Family of 5, kids 15, 13, 11. We did ziplining in the morning and rafting in the afternoon. Had the best day. Would highly recommend. The staff are brilliant, even the coach driver made the journey fun creating a sing along on the way home. Would recommend arriving at the meeting point slightly later than they tell you to because there is quite a bit of standing around before you set off to go on the trips. They are incredibly efficient at sorting everyone on arrival.
5A brilliant experience for the whole family!
This was one of the highlights of our trip. Despite the fact the river was relatively low due to sustained lack of rain, our guide Bruno made the trip fun for everyone. As well as riding the rapids we had opportunities to get out the boat and swim at other points and they made a boat 'slide' on a rock that people could go down into the river. The setting is gorgeous and the excitement was added to by the fact we ended up paddling (safely) through a torrential thunderstorm!

Well organised, decent equipment, knowledgeable staff but another 21 euros to pay per person in river tax on top of your booking fee
5Great experience
My partner and I had a great day rafting with Soča rafting! The organization was smooth, the whole team was in great spirit, the river was beauuuuutiful, our guide Gregor was super informative and really experienced maneuvering the boat between all the rocks and down all the rapids. Soča was cold, but on a hot day like what we had it felt soooo refreshing to jump in at the end! All in all a great experience!
5Amazing few hours experiencing the river up close
Amazing time rafting along the river, we were only a small group of 4 but that did not stop us having an amazing time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience great fun for all of us. Equipment was great and much relied upon. Would definitely go again.

- Meeting point for activities is in our outdoor center Soča rafting in Bovec (inside Hotel Soča). Please note that departure from the outdoor center is 30 minutes after the scheduled time, which is 30 minutes before the activity starts. This time is used for check-in and preparation.

About Bovec
Bovec is a mountain village in Slovenia's Soča Valley, in the Julian Alps, with an emerald river, waterfalls, rafting and a ski area on Mount Kanin.
Bovec lies in a wide basin in the Julian Alps at the head of the Soča Valley, surrounded by limestone peaks near the Italian border and the edge of Triglav National Park. The Soča river, clear and emerald green, flows down from the mountains through gorges, and the valley saw fierce fighting on the Isonzo front in the First World War. Old war trenches, chapels and cemeteries still mark the slopes.
