Cerro Concepción - before, hill of Our Lady of La Concepción - is one of the more than forty that Valparaíso has. Its name is due to the fort that had risen there for the defense of the city. It has also been called Cabo and Chivato, the latter appellant that is due to a mythological being who supposedly lived at the foot of the hill.
