  7. The little windowless huts sit on top of skinny stilts right over the gushing water. Since the flow here is spread out, by using a series of little mills instead of one big water wheel, the diffuse water power could be aggregated. Pretty ingenious. Most of the huts go back to the period of the Austro-Hungarian empire (about 1867 to 1918), and they give the impression of a little storybook village.

    20分

  8. Between Jajce and the settlement Lake, we will visit the lakes of the river Pliva which offers many possibilities for recreation from fishing, kayaking, canoeing to the shore activities. The lakes were hosts of many competitions in kayaking and canoeing on calm waters.

About Sarajevo

Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, lies in a mountain-ringed valley where Ottoman bazaars meet Austro-Hungarian boulevards.

Sarajevo follows the Miljacka River through a long valley with steep green hills on either side. Baščaršija, the old Ottoman bazaar, has copper workshops, tea houses and the Sebilj, a wooden fountain, and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque dates from the 1530s. West of it, the streets turn to Austro-Hungarian façades and cafés, so that a mosque, a Catholic cathedral, an Orthodox church and a synagogue all stand within a short walk.

Top-ranked sights in Sarajevo: Sarajevo Tunnel (Tunel Spasa), Sarajevo Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track, Latin Bridge (Latinska Ćuprija).
