5Interesting excursion !
We missed the meeting point as it was hectic with people disembarking. Do not go out of terminal gates, the company are just outside the terminal doors holding your name. The guide was very informative and our minibus only had 4 guests which was nice and comfortable. Interesting day but tiring. Included extras which wasnt expecting ( the motorbike rickshaw you took your life in your hands) The coffee and cake at the swanky hotel was delicious and included in the price and gratifying seeing about 70 other cruisers all arrive at the same time at the same hotel to know we had very personal service. The points of interest were varied. The smells even more so......especially at the market . Not good. Generally a longer day than we actually wanted but very good guide with heaps of knowledge.

Great tour and good value. Our guide was excellent who provided a good mix of Surabaya highlights. Enjoyed a nice Indonesian lunch.
5See and be immersed in Surabaya during a short visit
This was a great excursion in a small group which gave us the opportunity to see more and have a more intimate experience. Betta was an excellent guide! We had a great Indonesian lunch and saw many sites.

Very interesting places. We were lucky to have Nita as a guide. She made our day very interesting. Traffic terrible particularly at the end if the trip.

Are private tour and guide Laila was amazing!! We had a driver and a tour guide. We were up close and personal and hit so many sites that the big tour buses can’t get to. We travel all over the world and you various tours. We’re on a Viking cruise and the included tours are not rated high. Therefore, we decided to book a tour on our own that was private. if I could give six stars for this tour, I definitely would. Do not hesitate to book it. You come all this way. Do the private tour. We enjoyed it so much and very memorable!!!
5Our Day in Surabaya
Our guide was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history, culture and everyday life in Indonesia. Our guide showed us local plants and spices and shared how he uses those in cooking for his family. We highly recommend this tour.

About Surabaya
Surabaya is the capital of East Java and Indonesia's second city, a port of Dutch colonial buildings, heroes' monuments, mosques and street food.
Surabaya spreads along the Kali Mas river near the northern coast of East Java, a port city that grew under Dutch rule and is known as the City of Heroes for the battle fought here in November 1945 during the struggle for independence. The Heroes' Monument, a tall concrete obelisk, and the museum below it recall that fight, and Heroes' Day is marked on 10 November. Legend says the name comes from sura and baya, the shark and crocodile on the city's emblem.
