Join us for a Half Day Guided Vineyard Walk which meanders for 3-5km through the vineyards, offering beautiful views of one of the Stellenbosch most beautiful wine valleys. You will have the chance to taste some award winning wines at two wineries along the way and ending the day with a light lunch. About Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape, is a university town of oak-lined streets and Cape Dutch buildings, at the centre of South Africa's wine country.
Stellenbosch is the second-oldest European settlement in South Africa, founded in 1679 by Simon van der Stel, then governor of the Cape, who named it partly after himself. Its oak-shaded streets are lined with whitewashed Cape Dutch houses, and Dorp Street has some of the best preserved. The university gives the town a youthful air, while the Village Museum has restored houses from different periods.
