Driving east along the cliffs of Eyjajökull to the magnificent Skogafoss waterfall. You will get the chance to get great photos and take a small hike up to the top of Skogafoss to witness the power from the waterfall above. It drops down 25 m (80ft) and it’s one Iceland’s largest waterfall. If visited while the sun is shining, you’ll be able to see beautiful rainbows since the strong spray of mist.
One of Iceland’s most popular waterfalls is without a doubt the Seljalandsfoss waterfall due to the reason that it’s possible to walk behind the waterfall and get great pictures and experience the power, mist and the beautiful view behind it.
The Black Lava Beach is formed long basalt cliffs or columnar igneous rock which are formed at the cooling surface will tend to be propagated down the lava as it cools, forming long, geometric columns.
