1. We begin the morning in the ancient city of Shamakhi, where you'll enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani breakfast in true countryside style. 3. On the Great Silk Way connecting East Asia with the Mediterranean in antiquity and in the Middle Ages, there were caravanserais - hotels for merchants. Feel like a traveler of the distant past, because the next stop will be the caravanserai in Sheki, built in the 17th century.
