Shared Pizza Making Experience in Rome

An Exclusive Pizza-Making Experience in Trastevere Step inside one of Trastevere’s most beloved restaurants, home to the district’s oldest wood-fired oven, for an elevated pizza-making experience rooted in Roman tradition. Led by a local chef, this intimate workshop offers rare insight into time-honored techniques and the careful selection of exceptional ingredients. Begin by crafting pizza dough entirely from scratch, learning about its composition and the historic mozzatura technique—a 600-year-old method used to cut and portion the dough. As you shape your base and layer it with sauce and premium toppings, you’ll discover how quality ingredients and precise methods define authentic Roman pizza. Your Margherita pizza is then baked to perfection in the ancient wood-fired oven, producing a crisp, golden crust. The experience concludes with a relaxed, seated tasting of your creation, accompanied by wine and soft drinks—an elegant celebration of Roman culinary heritage.
